Hi Everyone,
I have not been very busy on here recently, so it is about time I put some more posts on here. I did some more rope jumping again tonight with some pushups, leg raises and dorsal raises thrown in. it has been a while but now I am getting back into it all and trying to do it at least 5 days a week, preferably every day if I can.
There were about 3 sessions with the jump rope of a few minutes each. I did not time them, as I do them to music. Pick a song and jump rope to it then have a rest for a minute then do some more or do another exercise, like pushups or leg raises. this time, it was rope jumping, 10 pushups, rope jumping, 5 pushups, 24 leg raises. rope jumping, 24 leg raises and 24 dorsal raises. I just need to make sure I do it most days now, maybe 5 out of 7 days which gives me a couple of rest days. I will see how I do tonight.

I have not written much for a while, I have not had much to put on here. My rope jumping is OK, I am improving again after a period where I was just not getting very far. My knees are a lot better now, but still give me twinges now and again. I think jumping side to side with a jump rope helped.
I haven’t done much recently, not really felt like it so I need to get back into it. More later.

Hi Folks,
It has been a while since I last updated this blog. I guess I have been a bit lazy. I have been rope jumping, mostly on nights, I have gotten up to 3×3 minute sessions. My knee still isn’t brilliant but it is OK and I can live with it for now. My weight is still over 14st, I guess it must be that time of year – too early to be warm, so we eat a bit more to keep us going.

Yes Folks,
I am taking it easy for now. Weight has dropped to 13st 11lb or thereabouts, so that’s good. I cut down on what I eat after a 3 week holiday and got back to almost what I weighed before I went away.
Knee is gradually getting better. I was told it could be 3 weeks to 3 months to heal. More like 7 months so far. Must have done more to it than was realised. Never mind, nearly there. Back to the rope jumping again this weekend, on nights. I really need to because I know how unfit I feel now. You don’t realise how much fitter you are until you become unfit again then you realise you’re a bit of a wreck:-(

Hi Everyone,
Not done much rope jumping for a few days, but my knee is feeling a lot better. I can run up the stairs (just), so that’s a great improvement. I’m still taking it easy, I want it to heal properly. It’s just taking a long time. Weight is about 14st 2lb, ate a lot more on holiday, just about back to normal eating now.
The cold weather doesn’t help much, need to eat a bit more to keep warm. going to be a bit busy in the house for a few days doing some manual work so that should help keep me warm and maybe burn off a bit more fat:-)

HI Folks,
Been away on holiday and not had much to write about. Put a few pounds on while on holiday but they are starting to go. Back down to 14st 2lb now.
Staretd rope jumping two nights ago, my knee feels better for it. It has been getting better, but I think the rope jumping has helped, so now I need to carry on doing it every day. Started with 2 100 jump sessions, I’m going to build it up gradually.

So, fed up with not doing any jump roping for all this time (nearly 3 months) so I did some tonight. Only 3 short sessions about a minute or so each. I certainly feel unfit now, going to take me a little while to get back to the level of fitness I had before the knee injury. I will have to take it slow, just to be on the safe side. So more jump roping later on tonight and more every day.
Weight has gone up a little bit but that’s because I seem to be eating a bit more than normal. UP to 13st 11.25lb now.

Not much going on, knee still recovering so not doing much in the way of exercise. Weight 13st 10lb, not bad considering.

Yes folks, lightest weight today – 13st 7.5lb. OK, so it’s only 0.5lb lighter than my last lightest weight but it’s going in the right direction. Knee is certainly better with the knee bandage on and walking around seems to help, together with sme rest now and again

Yup, knee still kanckered but getting better. Got the knee support bandage on now and I think that is helping. Weight today 13st 9lb. Chuffed.
